Her involvement is in the planning sphere, where she works within a multi-disciplinary team (doctors, psychologists, educators, sociologists and economists), dealing with representatives of associations and groups of people with disabilities.
Since 1996, she has pursued activities in educational training and design, as well as in research and publishing on themes tied to accessibility and inclusion, with peculiar abilities with regards to mobility problems in people with severe and extremely-severe difficulties.
Ms. Corbetta has co-supervised various graduate theses for the Faculties of Industrial Design and Architecture at the Milan Polytechnic.
Enriched by her personal experience as a wheel-chair user, she works in planning and as a consultant for all things related to accessibility; clients include individuals, public corporations, companies, hospitals and associations of people with disabilities.
Because of her long experience as a consultant, Ms. Corbetta has been able to delve deeply into the problems tied to mobility and living on the part of people with physical impairments, with a particular eye on the planning of space, furnishings and domestic equipment.
She is also very involved in interior design activities and has, over the last several years, carried out a number of renovation and interior-design projects for both the private and public sectors.
