At the university level, she is contracted to lecture, also tutoring students writing their theses and those with scholarships. Since 1999, as well as being a lecturer, Paola has been organizing, coordinating and managing training courses in accessible and inclusive planning for public administration engineers and technicians, students and free-lance professionals.

She has been a theses-tutor in the Faculties of Industrial Design and Architecture at Milan’s Polytechnic and in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the Università degli Studi in Perugia.

She is currently an “Inclusive Design” lecturer in the “Urban Design” course held by Prof. Danilo Palazzo (part of the international degree program at the Milan Polytechnic and the Master of Science in Building Engineering program in the Faculty of Building Engineering at the regional Lecco branch.)

Paola Bucciarelli has been a consultant on accessibility and visual-tactile graphics at the F. Cavazza Institute for the Blind in Bologna since 2002.

Since 2004, she has also been a consultant on communication and visual-tactile signage for CiCrespi S.p.A., company leader in the area of environmental signage systems.

Ms. Bucciarelli writes and reads grade 1 Braille.
